MARIJA GILIOVA is a painter, illustrator, and art therapy practitioner-consultant. She is actively involved in the social sector, studying art therapy methods and applying them in practice. In 2013, she graduated with a degree in Art (Design) from Šiauliai University, and in 2015, she earned a Master's degree in Creative Industries from Vytautas Magnus University. She is interested in psychology, psychotherapy, social and artistic projects, children's literature, and book illustration. „I am dynamic and expressive, yet these vibrant and energetic qualities are balanced by my sensitivity and gentleness toward the world around me. The environment, which is inherently the beauty of Creation—mysterious and diverse—plays a significant role in my art. It is endlessly changing, evolving alongside me, and speaking in its own language each time, preserving the unique story of the moment. My creative work is a wellspring of inner experiences and transformation, where every detail holds symbolic meaning, experience, emotion, taste, and scent. Although I have been creating since childhood, drawing on everything that has enriched my creative journey with experience, knowledge, and experiments, I am convinced that true creativity is born in the simplicity of everyday life and the depths of the human heart.“
