My work does not follow a straight path; it meanders from one theme to another, from one mode of expression to another. Sometimes my work is very personal, which can be seen in the exploration of deep personal themes and the raising of problematic questions for myself and others, while at other times the focus is on my surroundings. I strive to ensure that the means of expression in my work serve the idea. I choose those that best convey the idea I want to communicate to the audience. All my work is inspired by a love for all creation – life, people, and nature, both familiar and unfamiliar.
